Spanish Oaks Community


Spanish Oaks is a 1,200-acre gated community in the heart of the Hill Country. The homes have the look and feel of resort-living, while only 18 miles from downtown Austin. Houses throughout this luxurious neighborhood are large and spacious with an average square footage of 5,400 square feet. Most of the lots range from 1/2 acre to over two acres, with rolling hill country views. 


Where is Spanish Oaks? 


Spanish Oaks is located at Highway 71 and Bee Caves Road. The neighborhood has on either side protected nature preserves and Barton Creek. It’s a 20-minute drive to downtown Austin, and just south of the famous Lake Travis.

Spanish Oaks is a part of Lake Travis ISD, which is ranked one of the top two districts in the Austin area with an A+ rating. Children in this neighborhood attend Lake Pointe Elementary, Lake Travis Middle School, and Lake Travis High School. LTISD ranks as one of the top school districts in the state of Texas, with Lake Travis High School holding high honors for its academics, athletics, and college readiness. Lake Travis High has won state championships in football, golf, rugby and women’s volleyball in recent years.

Spanish Oaks Life


Spanish Oaks is home to the Spanish Oaks Golf Club, an 18-hole, Bobby Weed-designed course. The course is one of the best in Texas and is currently ranked #6 in the state by Golf Digest magazine. Memberships are available there for Full Golf, Junior Golf, National Golf and Social. 


In the community is the Pool Pavilion, which features swimming, sandy beaches, a sport court, and volleyball courts. You can have the perfect blend of fitness and entertainment without even leaving the neighborhood. Also there is the Spanish Oaks Private Fish Camp that includes a bait shop, fishing dock and 4.5 acre stocked pond. 


In the surrounding area near Spanish Oaks is the Hill Country Galleria shopping area for everything one needs to live, shop, work and play, including Whole Foods, Milk and Honey spa, and the family-friendly Mandola’s Italian restaurant. 


For outdoor adventures, residents of Spanish Oaks can hike nature trails at the nearby Barton Creek Habitat Preserve and take a dip in the natural Hamilton Pool Nature Preserve.
