Investors and builders basked in a prosperous time for Austin over the last decade as they carved opportunities out of previously untapped neighborhood renovations in the east side.

For the past eight years investors clung to the changing face of East Austin, and surrounding areas, for renovations, flips and developments. Zipcodes including 78702 (Rainey Street), 78723 (Mueller), 78722, 78721 (growth over 130%!), and 78741, experienced a swelling property value between 80% to 130%!

This begs the question - What will be the next East Austin goldmine? Are there still any neighborhoods left that show this type of growth potential?

You will need land and a gap in current market value with bordering neighborhoods.

Any takers?

One zip code that might be on the verge of some warranted hype similar to what we witnessed in Mueller and Rainey Street would be the 78754 area.

Sandwiched east of popular Crestview, and just north of hopping Mueller is 78754 of Manor ISD. This area holds incredible potential to be one of the fastest growing neighborhoods if trends continue on this trajectory.
